Fiji Medical Association 59th Annual Scientific Conference

The Fiji Medical Association's 59th Annual Scientific Conference was held last week from the 7th - 10th of September at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour.
The theme of this years conference was 'White Coats Under Siege'. Our CCOHSI team member, Jenny Naidu, presented on Viseisei Sai Health Centre's response to Fiji's NCD crisis on behalf of our Medical Directors who were away at a conference in the United States.
Jenny is a Research Officer and Health Educator for the Collective Community Ownership of Health and Social Issues (CCOHSI) Project. She gave an excellent presentation on the work of Viseisei Sai Health Centre towards reducing NCDs in the community and sat on the panel to discuss audience questions after the presentation.
