Celebrating the Collaboration of VSHC and FCDP
End of the Year Event - Empowering Communities for Wellness. The Viseisei Sai Health Centre celebrated its end of the year event on Monday 21st November 2016 at the Ratu Iloilovatu House in Viseisei. The celebration was held to mark the collaboration of Fiji Community Development Program (FCDP) and the Viseisei Sai Health Centre (VSHC) from 2013-2016. Voices Against Violence
The following article was printed in the November/December edition of the City Star Lautoka community newspaper and was written by Sanjay Goundar. Violence against girls and women is a stark reality of our society and according to a University of Hawaii study 64% of women suffer sexual or physical violence in their lifetimes. Australia values Civil Society partnership

Community Action Program update
VSHC has been working with the Community to avoid life style risk factors, which make one unhealthy. This work has been made possible with funding from the Fiji Community Development Program, an Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) aid project. This funding comes to an end in November. A key strategy of the project was to train, deploy and support Community Health Officers.
